A Summary Of The Visit:

 

On the 28th, 29th and 30th of October was held at the Salesian College of Huesca  the first visit of our Comenius project. It is a project of European dimension for nursery, primary and secondary schools that promotes mobility of students and teachers in Europe and cooperation between the different schools.

The project title is "I love music, I love drama, I love life" and it involved seven colleges of different countries.

The topic chosen for working during the two years that lasts the project is theater and music (music, traditional dance, dance, drama, movement, school choir...)

During these days we visited the school and went out to do a lot of activities. Visit the city, a castle, Zaragoza or even a wine factory.

On Sunday 27th all the participants arrived to Huesca. A group of Spanish teachers spent most of the afternoon in Huesca waiting each of the groups. All together had dinner in a restaurant and they were talking for all the dinner about their journey, school, country,…

On Monday at 9:00 it was held a welcome ceremony in the theater of the host school, where the project was presented. Every country made ​​a brief introduction of their country, their city or town and the school they represent.

In addition, a group of students of 6th level sang the popular song "Heal the World" made by Michael Jackson.

After lunch the group visited all school facilities. Classrooms nursery, primary, secondary, gym, canteen, kitchen...

The meals were held in the school canteen, where students eat.
After eating, the meetings began for planning and organizing the project.

 At 17:00 they had arranged a visit to Huesca with the tourist office in which they visited the cathedral, the view from the tower, San Pedro , the market square and  a very tipical shop called “La Confianza”.

The second day was devoted to meetings all morning and at 12 we moved to the town hall where we had prepared a reception. The mayor couldn´t go, but we were very well received in the hall of justice by Council Antonia Alcala , Jose Maria Gella and Luis Gallego.

In addition, our partners were very impressed with the giants and “big heads caballicos” exposed in the yard.

In the afternoon we traveled to the Loarre´s castle where we had arranged a visit in English and later a wine tasting in the cellars of Ayerbe "Edra".

In the evening held a dinner in the school canteen organized by a group of teachers and parents who prepared dishes from Aragón . Each family cooked a recipe to show as many dishes as possible. The dinner consisted of a huge variety of tapas : omelets, sausages , tomato pink, cod, salmorrejo , chilindrón chicken , gazpacho , empanadicos , hems crespillos , toast , rice pudding ...

On the third and last day we spent all morning planning and evaluating the work done till that moment.
In the afternoon we traveled to Zaragoza to visit the Pillar and the city center.
Farewells, kisses , hugs ...

In short , we spent  unforgettable days, we shared work, laughter , emotions , feelings ... and we were very excited by the project together.

We are already looking forward to the next mobility  in Romania next March.
